Our practice
Our wonderful practice team will give you a warm welcome, and you’ll receive first-class, friendly care from our highly experienced dentists, specialists, hygienists and nurses. We enjoy looking after patients of all ages, and are committed to helping everyone enjoy a lifetime of excellent dental health.

Patient comfort & safety
Your wellbeing and satisfaction mean a lot to us, and we have designed our practice to provide a modern, clean and comfortable environment. Please let us know if there is anything further we can do to assist your visit or to improve your experience, thank you.
Accessibility
Our entire practice is fully accessible (DDA compliant) for wheelchairs and pushchairs, including the entrance, reception, dental surgeries, and patient bathroom. There is paid parking in front of the practice, including a single disabled parking bay. Please advise our reception team if you need additional information or assistance for your visit.
Fresh air ventilation
Your wellbeing and comfort are paramount. The practice is fully air-conditioned and our four modern dental surgeries are equipped with gold-standard ventilation, performing 12 complete air-changes per hour. This advanced system continually draws in and circulates fresh, HEPA-filtered air, helping to maintain a clean and healthy environment.
Ceiling-mounted TV screens
During dental treatment, you can choose to view a selection of soothing images or nature-themed videos. These are designed to help patients relax, especially during longer procedures, by providing a pleasant distraction or entertainment. This is proven to be particularly helpful for children and nervous patients.
Baby-changing facilities
Our patient bathroom includes a fold-down table and secure waste-disposal. There is a space in the room for most pushchairs and buggies. Please let our reception team know if you need any supplies or assistance.
Health and hygiene
We have equipped the practice with advanced decontamination and sterilisation facilities. We follow rigorous cross infection protocols, and our staff are supplied with high-quality personal protective equipment.
Denplan Excel
Our team works hard to maintain high standards, and we are proud to have once again achieved Denplan Excel accreditation, awarded for excellence in quality assurance, patient care and communication.

This amazing digital scanner is used to create a virtual 3D record of your teeth so they can be monitored over time for any changes. The scanner is particularly used for highly-specialised guided implant planning. It also avoids the need to take unpleasant putty impressions!
With superior optics and very high levels of magnification and illumination, this advanced microscope enables our dental surgeons to work with even more precision and accuracy. This supports enhanced standards of comfort and care, and better outcomes, especially for more complex procedures such as root canal treatment (endodontics), microsurgery and advanced restorative care.
We use the latest digital X-ray equipment, reducing radiation by up to 80%. This advanced technology provides incredibly detailed imaging of teeth, bones and nerves, which enables enhanced diagnosis and accurate treatment planning.
Our cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) scanner provides outstanding 3D X-ray images of teeth, soft tissues, nerves and bone. This enables extremely accurate planning for complex cases such as wisdom teeth removal, dental implants and root canal treatments.
This tiny intraoral camera enables us to show you ultra-close-up images of your teeth and areas of your mouth that are difficult to see. This can really help with understanding treatment and hygiene needs, and monitoring dental conditions.

Our Story
I’ve enjoyed being a dentist in Petts Wood for 25 years now, and feel proud and privileged to be part of the wonderful community here. An exciting new chapter began for me in 2020 when the chance arose to start my own practice. This was a long-held dream, and I was lucky to find a perfect location at 19 Station Square.

You may recall that this used to be the Nationwide building society. When we took on the vacant property, it presented an amazing opportunity to start with a blank canvas and create a modern, purpose-built dental practice.
From the beginning, I have been fortunate to work with such amazing, talented people. What we were building – the facilities and the philosophy – attracted a group of like-minded clinicians and practice staff, many of whom knew each other and had worked in the area for some years. All of them brought high levels of experience and expertise, and shared a desire to provide exceptional, patient-centred care, through local, state-of-the-art dental facilities.
Driven by that ambition, we embraced the opportunity to build a beautiful, bespoke dental practice, with quality and care guiding every decision, and shaping every aspect of design.
As construction work progressed, and as the word spread, there was a real snowball effect, with others wanting to be part of it too. This shared ethos and collective endeavour has created a wonderful team spirit, which continues to attract talented, caring people to work with us as the practice grows.
Patients tell us they feel the difference, and appreciate knowing that whatever their treatment needs, they have access to top-class facilities under one roof, with a group of specialists and support staff dedicated to their dental health and wellbeing. The commitment everyone brings, and the special care they all provide, is what drives us to be our best – and it is the inspiration for our name, Caring Dental.
