We have some wonderful news to share with you all! Two members of our Caring Dental team are expecting new additions to their families in the new year!
Melissa, our hygienist, is expecting her second baby – this time a boy! Selina, our dentist, is becoming a mum for the first time – she’s having a baby girl!
To celebrate this lovely news, our team are having a joint baby shower at the end of December. It’s going to be a lovely way for us to send them off with all our best wishes as they prepare for their exciting new chapters!
We’ve been busy making sure everything runs smoothly while they’re away on maternity leave.
Hygienist cover for Melissa
Melissa will be on maternity leave from January until the beginning of May. During this time, we’ve got a great team in place to ensure your care continues seamlessly:
- Hygienist Rajvi will cover Melissa’s Wednesday mornings, Thursdays and Fridays.
- Hygienist Joy will take on Melissa’s Wednesday afternoons/evenings and every other Saturday.
When Melissa returns in May, she will resume her usual shifts except for Wednesday afternoons/evenings, which Joy will continue to cover.
Dentist cover for Selina
Selina will be taking maternity leave from January until October. During this time:
- Dentist Natalie will be covering Selina’s Wednesday mornings.
- Dentist Zahra will be covering her Wednesday afternoons and evenings.
She will be returning to her usual Wednesdays in October.
A familiar face returns
We’re happy to report that our beloved hygienist Amy, who moved to Singapore for three years, is coming home for Christmas and staying for a few weeks in January. Amy will be stepping in to help cover some of Melissa’s maternity leave while she’s here!
We’re so excited for Melissa and Selina and can’t wait to meet their little bundles of joy. Thank you for your understanding and support during this transition.
