Saying Hi to hygienists!

Saying Hi to Hygienists!

Caring Dental is pleased to welcome another two experienced hygienists to the team, Lois Garrett and Rajvi Patel.

As well as starting together, Lois and Rajvi both have young babies, so will be working with us part-time. And making it a trio, we are also delighted to have Helen Spencer return to our hygienist team after being on maternity leave.

Helen joined Caring Dental when we first opened in 2020, having worked with Dr Chris Prange for several years at a previous practice. When she left us to have a baby last year, her sister Amy – another fantastic hygienist – stepped into the role. Now, with Amy moving to Singapore, Helen has come back to us part-time. Caring Dental certainly seems to be a family favourite! We know they are both popular with patients too.

We wish Amy all the best in her new venture overseas and warmly welcome Helen back to the practice. Initially she will be with us alternate Thursday mornings, but hopes to add more days in the future. She especially enjoys treating young patients, and has even had a children’s book published. Helen has 10 years’ experience in the Paediatric department at the Royal London Hospital, where she cared for special needs and phobic patients.

At Caring Dental we are very experienced at looking after nervous patients of all ages, with the whole team helping to ensure that every visit is as calm and comfortable as possible.

Lois understands the importance of creating a relaxed atmosphere during treatment. With her caring and friendly personality, she can quickly put you and your family at ease. Lois is available for appointments every alternate Saturday.

Rajvi has a calm and reassuring presence, treating patients with the utmost respect and empathy, and always ensures they feel safe and understood. She is at the practice one day a week, alternating between Thursdays and Fridays. This fits well with her family commitments while bringing another expert hygienist to Caring Dental.

Our three starters join our other incredibly caring and experienced hygienists, Christelle Snyman, Melissa Ettridge, Diana Minto and Alexandra Vasey. With seven in the team, we can offer an even greater choice of appointments throughout the week, including late evenings and Saturday mornings. Whoever you see, you can be sure you’ll be very well looked after!

“We are really pleased to have Lois, Rajvi and Helen with us,” says Dr Chris. “With young families, flexible working helps support their work-life balance, while enabling us to harness the talents of some really experienced, dedicated professionals. It’s a win-win really, and all part of creating a happy, friendly feeling at Caring Dental. Everyone benefits – the team, the practice, and most importantly our patients.”

Gentle care and a beaming smile

Did you know you can now book hygiene appointments without seeing a dentist first? If you haven’t seen a hygienist for a while, you may like to know about the advanced technology we have at Caring Dental, designed to give you a more and relaxing comfortable experience.

All our hygienists use Airflow to clean your teeth and remove staining gently and painlessly, even if you usually experience sensitivity. You will immediately see and feel the difference! Watch our video to see how the Airflow stain removal system cleans effectively but comfortably.
